WebPBS Kids launched the Design Squad Global website to complement the series. Targeted towards middle school students, the website enables children to share engineering ideas and sketches with each other, devise solutions to global design challenges, play games, and watch a web series hosted by Ball and Season 2 contestant Deysi Melgar. [1] WebDesign Squad Global (DSC) clubs, run by the education department at WGBH, connect kids ages 10–13 through afterschool programs around the world. Kids explore engineering and invention through fun-packed, high-energy, hands-on activities — and they partner with a DSG club from a different country!
