As with the Army, the Marine Corps awarded these Rifle Marksmanship Badges at three qualification levels (highest to lowest): Expert, Sharpshooter, and Marksman. WebMarksmanship Instructors are responsible for training Marines to be accurate with their rifles in all phases of engagements including infantry, artillery, and counterterrorism operations. They also teach Marines how to use firearms safely in order to enhance their chances of success in combat.
