WebSep 4, 2024 · Thats an interesting thought. Come to think of it, I didnt seem to have the issue with the skeet loads I test fired it with. Both are remington shells. Skeet/trap loads are 8 shot 7/8 oz I think, and the hunting loads are the 7 1/2s with 1 1/8oz shot heavy dove load (not high brass). Might be the heavys are slightly larger. WebAug 13, 2016 · To where the extractor just pulls over the rim of the shell now and you need something to shove down the barrel to knock the casing loose and out of the chamber/gun.
